So much of our preliminary spec work can be done remotely, through layout drawings, site plans, and thorough correspondence, but sometimes an on-site survey is the only way to ensure the best possible outcomes. Our team will come do a full evaluation of your facility and the cost will apply to the layout and design fee on your equipment order. Our crews are based out of Chicago, so below you can see the cost breakdown of trips in our out of our region.

Regional Site Survey and Consultation

FREE within 60 miles of Chicago. Maximum cost of $700 and round trip of 400 miles or less.

Remote Site Survey and Consultation

Approximate cost of $1,200 depending on complexity of system.

Malt Handling provides custom designed installation packages for many of your brewery distillery needs, including milling, weighing and conveying equipment, automation, pumps and pipe fitting, chiller/glycol installation, dust collection, welding and much more. Malt Handling operates in every state in the US and several other countries. We are constantly looking for new talented personnel, and we are currently looking for individuals with experience in commercial equipment assembly and/ or installation, or relatable skilled trades such as carpentry, pipe fitting, millwright or brewery/distillery experience.

The individual would need to be a road warrior with the flexibility to leave home for 5-10 days at a time on average and must possess a valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle. Compensation will be based on relevant experience but is comparable to skilled trade prevailing wages.
